To mark Comic Relief's 40^th birthday this year, we decided to use the number 40 as our basis for the day. To keep it simple and increase physical activity we asked pupils and staff to come dressed in sportswear and tasked each class with coming up with a sporty trial/activity inspired by the number 40, for example 40 star jumps, 40 burpees, 40 laps around the playground, 40 rounds of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. We had great fun and raised £275 in doing so!
