Believe and Achieve
Today we have been raising awareness of domestic abuse by 'Going Purple'. The campaign is run by Black Country Women's Aid.
Black Country Women’s Aid (BCWA, formerly known as Sandwell Women’s Aid) is an independent charity which has been supporting victims of domestic abuse in the West Midlands for the last 30 years. BCWA offers sensitive and holistic support services which help victims of abuse to escape from violence, cope with trauma and move on with their lives. For more information, go to Go Purple - Black Country Womens Aid.
All the entries to the Summer Scrapbook challenge were superb! We put all the names of those who entered into the competition into a hat and Harley's name was pulled out. Well done Harley and all those who entered. A display is being made in school and certificates sent home tonight.
As part of our prize for winning the Sandwell Scarecrow Competition, EYFS & KS1 got to 'Meet a Farmer' via Teams. They had a tour of a farm, had a question & answer session with Alex (the farmer) and got to meet some animals. KS2 got a wide selection of books to enjoy in the library.
Congratulations to the Tigers who earned the most House Points last term. Well done to the House Captains for organising the event!
A trick (or treat) from the spooky staff at Mesty Croft!
The Book Fair Takeover Team worked hard to help raise over £1000! Well done team :)
