Year 6 Residential to Laches Wood

In January we had the privilege of taking 26 amazing Year 6 pupils on residential. The chosen venue was Laches Wood, an outdoor adventure centre on the Wolverhampton/Shropshire border alongside two other schools from our PHMAT family. There they had the opportunity to make memories to last a lifetime: rock climbing and abseiling, caving, BMXing, axe throwing, high ropes, bushcraft and search and rescue in addition to a hike in Carding Mill Valley. They threw themselves wholeheartedly into each and every activity; developed their independence being away from home and their behaviour was impeccable; we could not have been more proud of them. Thank you to Miss Markham-Randall (Visit Leader), Mr Lester, Mr Fellows and Miss Hayden for giving up their time to accompany the children on their adventure. Well done all!
