Mr R Shaw - Deputy Headteacher

Originally from Lancashire, I moved to the West Midlands to study Psychology at the University of Birmingham. After a short period of trying to be a musician – I decided to become a teacher. I started teaching in 1997 in Central Birmingham before moving to Sandwell in 2001; I came to Mesty Croft in 2008 as Phase Leader for Years Three and Four. In my spare time I enjoy walking, painting and spending time with my family. I still play the guitar occasionally and I don’t need my arm twisting too much to appear in a music video…
