In light of the Russian invasion and the subsequent humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, we wanted to show our support. We did this by asking for donations and all staff and children dressed in blue and yellow.
Thank you for your amazing donations for Ukraine. We were overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity.
The donations will be taken to Lea Hall Club in Rugeley on Friday 18th March whereby they will be loaded onto a lorry provided by Hawkins Logistics and taken to Ukraine.
This year for Children In Need our theme was 'Together, We Can be UNIQUE!'. All staff and children were asked to wear something that they felt represented them, something that makes them feel happy and comfortable. We had pyjamas, onesies, football strips, dance outfits, fancy dress to name just a few. Following on from Anti-Bullying Week with the them 'One Kind Word', children complimented each other on their choice of outfit and many a kind word was used. Go Mesty!
Once again, a huge thank you to everyone for your support and donations. The total raised this year was a magnificent £377.84! You are so kind.
