  • Support for Ukraine

    In light of the Russian invasion and the subsequent humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, we wanted to show our support. We did this by asking for donations and all staff and children dressed in blue and yellow.

     

    Thank you for your amazing donations for Ukraine. We were overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity.

     

    The donations will be taken to Lea Hall Club in Rugeley on Friday 18th March whereby they will be loaded onto a lorry provided by Hawkins Logistics and taken to Ukraine.

  • Children In Need 2021

    This year for Children In Need our theme was 'Together, We Can be UNIQUE!'. All staff and children were asked to wear something that they felt represented them, something that makes them feel happy and comfortable. We had pyjamas, onesies, football strips, dance outfits, fancy dress to name just a few. Following on from Anti-Bullying Week with the them 'One Kind Word', children complimented each other on their choice of outfit and many a kind word was used. Go Mesty!

     

    Once again, a huge thank you to everyone for your support and donations. The total raised this year was a magnificent £377.84! You are so kind. 

  • Go Purple Day - 22.10.21

    Today we have been raising awareness of domestic abuse by 'Going Purple'. The campaign is run by Black Country Women's Aid. 

    Black Country Women’s Aid (BCWA, formerly known as Sandwell Women’s Aid) is an independent charity which has been supporting victims of domestic abuse in the West Midlands for the last 30 years. BCWA offers sensitive and holistic support services which help victims of abuse to escape from violence, cope with trauma and move on with their lives.     Thank you for your generous donations, we raised a fantastic £236.41 for Black Country Women's Aid. Our donations will be used to help those being forced to start all over again because of Domestic Abuse.

  • Macmillan Coffee Morning - 24.09.2021

    Thank you to everyone that has supported and contributed to the Macmillan Coffee Morning hosted in school by Mrs Dhanda. 

     

    Thank you to the school staff who kindly baked and donated cakes for the event. 

     

    The donations from both parents and school staff raised a staggering total of £525.63 for this amazing charity!

     

    A huge well done and thank you to all those involved. 

  • Red Nose Day Total

    Thank you all enormously for your support during Red Nose Day held on Friday 19th March where the theme this year was 'Funny is Power'. The total amount raised via your donations was a fantastic £396.70. This is amazing and your donations will be used to change countless lives, both here in the UK and worldwide.

  • Christmas card design competition

    On Friday 11th December we had a visit from Nicola Richards, MP for West Bromwich East to present one of our children (Scarlett - Y5) with a certificate and prize as she came runner-up in a local Christmas card design competition. Well done Scarlett!!
  • Children in Need 2020

    This year for Children In Need we focussed on children's mental health and emotional wellbeing. All staff and children were asked to wear their, 'favourite, feel good outfit' and children chose to wear what makes them the happiest. 

     

    Thank you to everyone for your support and donations, as always you never cease to amaze us; This year's total was £272.10! Amazing!

  • Remembrance Day

    Lovely Lucie has been very busy at home with mum, making a dress to commemorate Remembrance Day. She has captured the sign of remembrance, the poppy; long with the words 'lest we forget'. She is so creative and thoughtful; we are very proud of her! Thank you, Lucie.
