10:30 - 11:00: Morning break
11:00 - 11:30: Maths
Roll a dice twice, the first roll of the dice will tell you what colour objects to find and the second roll will tell you how many to find.
If you roll:
1 = red objects 2 = blue objects 3 = yellow objects
4 = black objects 5 = green objects 6 = pink objects
When you have collected 2 groups of objects, how many do you have altogether? Say your number sentence out loud. 4 add/plus 3 equals 7 altogether.
If you don’t have many different coloured objects at home you can either make your own small counters or you can count out dried pieces of pasta to match the number you have rolled on the dice.
Can you write the numeral to match how many objects you have in each group?
For an extra challenge you could try writing your number sentence. 4 + 3 = 7.
11:30 – 12:00: Skills – Fine Motor Skills
Follow these instructions to make a paper chain?
You will need: Paper, scissors and glue or tape.
Cut paper into strips
Take one strip of paper and curl around so the two ends meet then stick them together.
Put another strip through the middle then curl around so the ends meet and stick together.
Repeat until you are happy with the length of the chain.
You could also decorate your paper chain.
12:00 – 1:00: Lunch
Afternoon Lesson

You could also use the example below to draw a picture in each jar.
